A spin-off from the University of Waterloo, KA Imaging is a company that specializes in developing innovative X-ray imaging technologies and systems, providing solutions to the medical, veterinary and NDT markets. The company has successfully developed a line of innovative x-ray imaging products in the areas of phase contrast micro-computed tomography, ultra high spatial resolution x-ray detectors and large area digital, dual-energy X-ray material separation detectors.

KA Imaging is looking for driven and motivated Sales Account Executives to sell x-ray imaging medical products. The Sales Account Executive will be part of a dynamic sales team supporting X-ray technology projects to achieve rewarding and fulfilling goals that have a direct impact on society.

In this role you will develop a territory plan that prioritizes influential accounts, provide a plan and path to achieving first years' sales goals, identify and recruit local KOL’s ( Key Opinion Leaders) to adopt and evangelize Reveal, and create a prospecting plan to ensure territory coverage and leading indicator call metrics that support plan achievement.

You will meet with targeted doctors and health care providers in your territory and utilize sales skills to persuade them to purchase Reveal.

You will also give providers relevant product information as it pertains to specific use cases that have demonstrated Reveal benefits, perform product demonstrations with a clear eye towards differentiation, incremental value as well as improved financial and clinical outcomes.

A key part of your success will be to develop relationships and network with doctors, surgeons, and hospital administrators.

Your qualifications will include:

  • Previous transactional sales experience in the medical device space  
  • ARRT/RT or previous x-ray/imaging clinical background  preferred
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with comfort and ability to present clinical information in a compelling and persuasive manner
  • Ability to identify pain points, decision makers/influencers, and develop winning sales strategy for all stakeholders
  • Understanding of hospital organizational structure and capital purchase process
  • Curiosity and ambition to grow and develop a new skillset
  • Proficient MS Office computer skills as well as video conferencing platforms

Other requirements include:

  • Field based role requiring overnight travel based on business need including in-person customer interactions, conferences, conventions and in-person training
  • Candidate is required to reside within assigned territory
  • Must meet leading indicator call metrics (which may cover both in-person and virtual client engagement) and other requirements established for territory
  • Must have valid driver’s license, qualified vehicle, and appropriate motor vehicle insurance
  • Must acquire and maintain facility credentialing for access to medical facilities within assigned territory (including annual flu shot and all other vaccines required by medical facilities within assigned territory)
